The people of the planet Spaceball have wasted all their fresh air and plan to steal the atmosphere of their peaceful neighbor, the planet Druidia. The evil President Skroob sends the villainous Dark Helmet to kidnap Druidia's Princess Vespa. To save her, King Roland hires the rogue space pilot Lone Starr and his half-human, half-dog companion Barf. Along with the princess, they must use the mystical power of "the Schwartz" to defeat the Spaceballs and rescue Druidia.
